Programme on Human Values

NSS units of our institution organised a lecture on human values for students on January 23, 2023.. The programme was inaugurated with a prayer by P. Braramba under the chairmanship of the principal. In this program, Parama Pujya Sharadeshamba of Ramakrishna Ashram from Harihara gave a lecture to the students on the importance of human values. In his lecture, he presented the following points:

Education is about clearly understanding, learning skills, and practising knowledge and skills that lead to fulfilling one's purpose. It is not only about learning skills; dealing with "dos" and "don'ts" is called value education. It helps in developing the right understanding. Students benefit from the development of life skills and values in the following ways:

• Praise others for developing skills.
• Develop self-awareness.
• Acquire the skill to develop self-confidence
• Avoid blaming others by taking responsibility.

He encouraged students to achieve anything in life by repeating the mantra "I can do anything and everything". On this occasion the NSS officers, all the faculty members, and 108 volunteers participated.
