National Voters Day

On January 25, 2023, at 11 a.m., NSS Units 1 & 2, I.Q.A.C., and the Electoral Literacy Club of our institution commemorated National Voters Day. Ananda.S., an NSS officer, welcomed the gathering on this special event. Dr. S. M. Siddlinga Murthy, the principal, officially launched the programme. In his inaugural address, he encouraged the students to register as voters and to utilize their voting power to strengthen the democracy. A seminar was held to raise voter rights awareness. The speaker, Mr. Shafiulla, a lecturer in political science, increased students' understanding of the entire electoral process in our nation during his presentation.

On this occasion, Dr. A.M. Rajashekharaiah, all the teaching and non-teaching staff members, all the NSS volunteers, and all the students were present. The programme concluded with a pledge for National Voter Day. In total, 300 students have participated in this event.
