About the Department:

Department of English was established with the inception of the College in the year 1972. English was taught only as basic subject for B.A. and B.Sc. Course. In the year 2006-07 English optional was introduced. Along with Literature studies, to enrich spoken communication language lab was established in the year 2014. Apart from teaching basic and optional classes, department offers certificate course in Communicative English.
